Initiation speaks to the struggles women face when their spiritual gifts and intuition are awakening. We often struggle with the “witch wound,” immense fear of persecution and judgement, learned from both our individual life experiences as well as generational trauma passed down to us.

It represents a time when we still doubt ourselves and our intuition still feels….fuzzy. It can be confusing as we learn to interpret what we’re receiving spiritually, which is why the third eye is depicted as somewhat rudimentary and unclear. We feel silenced by the inner and outer criticism, but we experience moments of clarity as we begin to see past the “witch” label, and recognize that the information we receive, and our metaphysical gifts, are of a profoundly healing nature. If you look closely, the word “healer” can be seen in white trying to emerge through the darkness, confusion, and chaos.
